Description

What is Ivecop?

Ivecop is an antiparasitic drug used to treat Scabies, River Blindness, head lice, and other worm infections.

Ivecop is a brand name for the Ivermectin salt. It enhances your quality of life by combating parasitic infections.

The treatment of roundworm infection reduces the risk of developing a life-threatening condition, particularly for individuals with a compromised immune system.

Ivecop is an Anthelmintic, a type of medication that works by paralyzing and killing parasites.

People with River Blindness may be prescribed Corticosteroids (drugs similar to cortisone) to reduce the inflammation caused by the parasite infestation.

If your physician has recommended both of these drugs, adhere to the instructions.

What are the uses of Ivecop?

Ivecop aids in the treatment of a variety of medical complications, including:-

  • Scabies – It is a parasitic infection caused by the mite Sarcoptes scabiei. It is a mite that burrows into the skin’s outermost layer causing an allergic reaction after a few weeks This causes severe itchiness. The medication Ivecop can be used to treat scabies.
  • Filariasis – Filariasis is a parasitic infection caused by Filarioidea-type roundworms. It is a condition caused by the release of microfilariae by adult worms into the bloodstream.
  • Onchocerciasis – The parasitic worm Onchocerca volvulus is responsible for developing this infection. Common symptoms include intense itching, skin bumps, and even blindness.
  • Strongyloidiasis – It is caused by the nematode Strongyloides stercoralis. This parasite can complete its entire life cycle within the human body. In addition to skin symptoms, this infection may cause abdominal pain, weight loss, and diarrhea.

How does Ivecop work?

Ivermectin is an antiparasitic medication. It combats the parasite by binding selectively to Gglutamate-Ggated Cchloride ion channels in the nerve and muscle cells of the host.

Ivermectin increases the flow of chloride ions into a cell by binding to Glutamate-gated Chloride ion channels.

This results in an overcharged cell, which paralyzes and kills the parasite.
