What is Aciloc?

The Aciloc pill is an effective medication used to reduce stomach acid production.

Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome: In the case of Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, excess acid is created due to tumors in the small intestine.

Aciloc can also treat Dyspepsia and Hypersecretory disorders such as Systemic Mastocytosis and Multiple Endocrine Adenoma Syndrome.

How does Aciloc work?

Aciloc is a member of the class of medicines known as H2 blockers.

Ranitidine, the active ingredient in Aciloc, inhibits the actions of Histamine on the stomach-lining parietal cells’ Histamine H2 receptors.

Histamine is the molecule that induces the secretion of stomach acid by acid secreting parietal cells.

Therefore, this medication prevents Histamine from exerting this effect, reducing gastric acid secretion.

Dosage 

• The medicine should be taken as per your doctor’s recommendation
• The tablet should be taken orally with a glass of water
• Do not crush or chew the medicine 
• The pill can be taken on an empty stomach

Missed Dose

Take Aciloc tablets as soon as you remember. If it’s time for the next dose, you can skip it. Do not double it to make up for the missed dose.

Overdose
